High-resolution imaging methods are an important tool in modern life sciences for the elucidation of structurefunction relationships. Simultaneously, they are a rapidly developing field of research for the development of new technologies. Towards this end we provide high-resolution microscopy infrastructure for the research groups of LIN, members of CBBS and the scientific community, including consulting, training and service. In addition, we perform basic research projects on functional neuromorphology and analysis of dynamic processes in pre- and postsynaptic structures and conduct methodological developments on the subject of high-resolution imaging and Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging (FLIM).
