Our research focusses on neurological characteristics of affective disorders, mainly on depression. We try to shed light on all aspects and manifestations of the disease, by conducting experiments at a 3T and high-field 7T MR Scanner, making use of different neuroimaging methods. Our main method is multimodal imaging to reveal the neurobiological underpinnings of non-invasive signals of deviant brain processing in neuropsychiatric disorders.
