Career Day 2018 – Perspectives for women in life sciences

More than 50 students attended the Career Day 2018 – Perspectives for Women in Life Sciences, which took place on the 14th of June 2018 at the LIN. The day started with various speakers from industry and academia giving interesting insights into different career opportunities and – most importantly – into their own, not always straightforward – careers.
Afterwards, the students got the opportunity to get in contact with potential employers at our job fair. Besides, our guests were happy to get the perfect application picture taken by a professional photographer and polish their CV to perfection at the CV check.
Last but not least 15 young researchers had the chance to discover their personal strengths profile in our workshop “Discover what you do best!”, an event we will repeat next year due to the excellent feedback by the students.

We thank all organizers, speakers and guests for a wonderful Career Day 2018.
