Our research links neuroscience to applied fields of sport, physical
activity and training. Current research foci include the dynamics of
training-induced brain plasticity, exercise-induced neuro-enhancement
and decision-making in competitive sports. Our goal is to develop
specific and personalized training strategies for healthy people,
patients or athletes on the basis of a thorough understanding of the
mechanisms of brain plasticity. Therefore, we combine behavioral
training with brain imaging, electrophysiological and computational
methods.
